Musk launches exciting statements about :
sending people to the Moon :
Mars and humanity's interplanetary future :
The American businessman and billionaire, founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk
hoped that his company would be able to get humans to
the moon within 5 years, and to Mars within 7-9 years.
Musk said: "I think the first Starship will land on Mars without a human presence
on board first, in 5 years... I think we will get people to the Moon in 5 years' time.
I think the first people will land on Mars in 7 years or so, from 7 to 9 years. "
It was also stated that after being able to be on two planets
people would have access to other planets and systems.
Musk also considered that
if humanity lived on different planets
it would have a better chance of survival.
Musk said earlier in
response to a question from American journalist
- and activist Ed Krasenstein about the end of human civilization:
- "If we become co-existence between planets and then between stars
- our civilization will last for millions of years, and if not
human civilization will probably end in only a few hundred years."
In a separate statement
Musk also described demographic collapse as
the biggest problem threatening humanity on Earth.
Elon Musk:
Humanity must have a base on the moon and cities on Mars
Billionaire American entrepreneur Elon Musk declared that humanity
needed to explore space and access other planets.
Musk said in his post on the network X (formerly Twitter):
"Humanity must have a base on the moon, cities on Mars
and be there among the stars!".
In his post, he added:
"It was 66 years between the first flight (that of the Wright Brothers)
and the first landing on the Moon, and so far it has been half a century since
the last landing on the Moon.
This cannot be our greatest achievement as a civilization ".
It should be noted that Elon Musk is the founder of SpaceX, a rocket and spacecraft
developer
- and his company is also working on the Starship vehicle project, which
- is supposed to be used for long-range space flights
- such as trips to Mars and the Moon.
