US Parliament:
US Will See Biden Impeached This Year
Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has said the country
will await impeachment proceedings against President Joe Biden in 2024.
"I think Americans will be able to pursue the impeachment trial of
President Biden this year," Greene said in an interview with Just the news.
On 13 December, the Republican-led U.S.
House of Representatives voted on Wednesday night to approve
the launch of an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
221 members of
the United States House of Representatives
while 212 others opposed the House GOP resolution, which would guide
the House's oversight, accountability, revenue and expenditure committees
and the judiciary to continue their ongoing investigation into
whether there were sufficient grounds to impeach the current U.S. president.
House Republicans' investigations concern allegations of
Biden's involvement in foreign investment initiatives belonging to
his son Hunter Biden
and doubts about this relate to Biden's tenure as U.S.
vice president in Barack Obama's administration
while the White House strongly denies such accusations.
Republicans have repeatedly stated that the Biden family receives funds
from companies, including foreign companies, to use political influence in
favor of investment businesses.
In this regard, the Chairman of the House Oversight
and Accountability Committee, James Comer, emphasized that
the current President of
the United States "has to answer Americans' questions"
in particular clarifying the terms of financial agreements with his brother
and indicating whether he received substantial amounts
from other relatives who cooperated with the companies.
