Biden :

comments on crime against Palestinian

child and mother in US over Gaza war

US President Joe Biden has commented on the killing of a 6-year-old Palestinian boy and serious injuries to his mother because of their religion and Israel's war on Gaza.

"Jill and I were shocked and disgusted to learn of the brutal killing of a 6-year-old and the attempted murder of the child's mother at their home yesterday in Illinois," Biden said in a statement.

He added:

The Palestinian Muslim child's family came to America in search of

what we all want: a refuge to live, learn and pray peacefully.

"This horrific act of hatred has no place in America, and it runs counter to our core values: freedom from fear about the way we pray, what we believe, and who we are."

We must unite and reject

Islamophobia and all forms of intolerance and hatred. I have repeatedly said that I will not be silent on hatred. there is no place in America for hatred against anyone .

He concluded

by expressing his condolences to the family:

We join everyone here in the White House in sending our condolences

and prayers to the family, including for the healing of the mother

and to the wider Palestinian, Arab and Muslim American communities.

Earlier :

the United States police charged a 71-year-old man with a "hate crime"

after he killed a 6-year-old Palestinian child, who had 26 stab wounds

with a large military knife :

and injured his mother by more than 12 stab wounds

at a house in Plainfield Town, about 65 kilometres south-west of Chicago.

Biden:

Israel's reoccupation of

Gaza would be a big mistake and the situation in Gaza threatens America

US President Joe Biden

said he believed Israel's reoccupation of

the Gaza Strip "would be a big mistake," but stressed that

eliminating Hamas was a "necessary requirement."

Biden said in an interview with CBS that U.S. troops would

"not participate" in the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel.

"I don't think this is necessary... Israel has one of the best fighting forces... I guarantee you that we will provide them with everything they need ".

On the other hand

Biden stressed that the Israeli war on Gaza "increases the threat of

terrorism" in the United States, adding that

he had a meeting with Homeland Security officials

and the FBI to discuss how to ensure that

"single wolves" were prevented from carrying out attacks.

Biden

defended Israel's killing

wounding and displacement of thousands of Palestinian civilians in response to Israel's deaths in Operation "Al-Aqsa Deluge", carried out by the Qassam Brigades

claiming that

there is a fundamental difference..

Israel is pursuing a group of people

who participated in barbaric acts just as important as the Holocaust...

So I think Israel has to respond...

They have to go after Hamas, "adding that Hamas fighters" hide behind civilians...

I am confident that the Israelis will do everything in their power to

avoid killing innocent civilians .

With more than

2 million people in Gaza under siege

half of them children, Biden said

We are talking to Egyptians to get children

and women out of that area... but it is difficult .

A number of

Hollywood stars strongly advocate for the Palestinian cause

Some Hollywood stars have expressed strong support for the Palestinians

hiring their social media accounts to refute

Israel's

fabricated narratives and show the suffering of the Gaza Strip.

These stars featured John Cusack

who "has strong encounters" as described by his followers on X

(formerly Twitter)

actress Susan Sarandon is also active on X

and Mark Ruffalo is also active on the same platform.

Actor Liam Cunningham also posts photos and cases on

his Instagram account and participates in anti-Israel demonstrations.

The Gaza

Strip continues to suffer as a result of Israel's aggression against it

becoming inhabitants of dozens of people killed

and hundreds injured by Israeli aircraft strikes.

In Gaza :

the Palestinian Ministry of Health had announced that the toll of

casualties resulting from Israel's ongoing aggression had risen to 2,670

and that more than 9,600 others had been injured.

According to Palestinian Ministry of

Health statistics, nearly 1,000 children and 700 women were killed as a result of

the Israeli raids, and more than 2,000 children and 1,400 women were injured.
