Former U.S.

President Donald Trump announced that if elected president in 2024

he would build a system to protect the United States from hypersonic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

In a speech 

Trump said the world had become "more dangerous"

during current President Joe Biden's term, and that World War III would be an "unprecedented disaster", much more serious than the First and Second World Wars.

There is no greater risk of lethal nuclear weapons and hypersonic missiles.

He continued :
