rewrites the political map" with a landslide victory

declaring that Florida is where the wake will die.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) said voters "rewritten the political map" in Florida when they gave him a landslide victory that saw DeSantis win in Miami-Dade County previously.

Ron is the first Republican candidate for governor to win the county since 2002.

In his victory speech, he said :

You know over the past four years that we have seen great challenges for the people of our nation for the citizens of the United States and above all for the cause of freedom.

We have seen freedom in our way of life and many other jurisdictions in this country fade into generosity. Florida kept the line.

We chose facts over fear.

We chose education over indoctrination.

• We chose law and order over riots and chaos.

• Florida was a haven of mind when the world went crazy

• we stood as a castle of freedom for people all over this country

• and indeed all over the world.

We faced attacks

we got hit

we got through the storms

but we stood on the ground and we didn't back down.

We had conviction to guide us and we had the courage to lead our promises.

We have made promises to the people of Florida and we have fulfilled those promises.

And so today

four years after the people handed down their verdict, freedom is here to stay.

Now thanks to the overwhelming support of the people of Florida, not only do we want elections, we have rewritten the political map.

I appreciate you giving us a victory that will live on forever.

I would like to thank all our campaign staff from campaign manager Genera onwards, this was the best campaign ever conducted in the history of Florida policy.

I wouldn't have been able to recognize the degree of success.

we saw unless I had eminent employees working in the governor's executive office as well as state agencies.

These people have worked hard to implement our agenda.

They believed in our agenda and the results were historic.

• we are still counting the votes

• but obviously this election will have had a large number of

• votes cast by individuals who would not have supported me four years ago.

I just want to tell you that I have the honour to earn your trust and support during these four years.

The wake-up

agenda has caused millions of Americans to leave these jurisdictions for greener pastures, and now Florida has become this great exodus of Americans for these people as the promised land.

We have embraced freedom

maintained law and order

protected parents' rights, respected our taxpayers and rejected the ideology of vigilance.

We will never give up to the woke audience in

Florida where the wake goes to die.

We got more done than anyone thought possible four years ago

 but we have a lot to do and I just started fighting, God bless you all.
