Lauren Boebert reversed her stance after referring to Joe Biden as president
Lauren Boebert, a controversial Republican representative from Colorado, recently claimed she had made a "Freudian gaffe" after calling the name and surname of US President Joe Biden while speaking at a dinner in Tennessee on Wednesday hosted by the Knox Republican Party. County.
After a video taken at the event found its way to Twitter
Boebert was seen referring to "President Biden" before quickly retracting her feelings and correcting herself.
"It is an honour to serve at this time"
- Bobert crossed while addressing the crowd.
- I think many of us in this Hall think that last days
- this is not the time to complain
- this is not a time to grumble
- to be frustrated, to be frustrated
- but a time for joy.
The Lincoln Project
an anti-Trump conservative group, tweeted its dismay at Boebert's statement, writing: "Christian or not, Lauren Boebert cannot adequately represent any component that does not believe in this end-of-time prophecy."
The organization added:
"Can you really have someone who makes decisions on your behalf and doesn't think anything
he does now will matter?"
Later in her speech, Boebert quickly corrected herself after referring to Joe Biden as "president." While discussing an individual Biden had thanked in the past, the title faded, only for Boebert to quickly correct his face, referring to the incident as a "Freudian slip," a mistake caused by an unconscious or suppressed desire interference, or an internal intellectual train.
Since President Biden won the election in 2020
Bobert has been one of the most vocal supporters of former US President Donald Trump and his claims that Biden rigged the election and stole it from his leadership.
While such evidence has not been able to substantiate these allegations, Trump and his allies are often heard denying Biden's official status as president of the United States, saying that elections won by fraud should not continue.
In late December 2020
Poibert took to Twitter to express her frustration with individuals who were proposing that the United States take better measures to ensure the legitimacy and validity of future elections.
She wrote:
"I am so tired of hearing about moving forward with fixing election fraud. The election just happened. There was fraud. Fix it first! "
Although Trump and his supporters insisted on determining Biden's victory in the 2020 election, the evidence did not substantiate any of his claims, and even after the infamous January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, accusations continued.
However, Boebert and those with similar values are unlikely to accept Biden as president of the United States, regardless of how often claims of election fraud have been refuted.
