Report: Trump planned to exchange Mar-a-Lago

 documents for "sensitive documents"

related to his 2016 campaign's contacts with Russia.

The New York Times recently reported that Donald Trump told aides that he wanted to reach an agreement with the National Archives to exchange "sensitive" documents that he believed proved that his 2016 campaign did not collude with Russians in exchange for the return of papers and files. Head away to his resort in Mar-a-Lago.

The former president pressured his aides to lie about what he took and was hiding, according to Maggie Haberman and Michael Schmidt of the Times, putting them and his lawyer in legal danger.

"Mr. Al-sa Trump

Still determined to show that he had been wronged by the FBI's investigation into his 2016 campaign ties with Russia, he was angry with the National Archives and Records Department for not wanting to hand over a collection of sensitive documents that he thought proved his claims.

"Before adding," In exchange for these documents

Mr. Trump told advisers, he would return to the National Archives the boxes of material he took to Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, "the report states.

The incident illustrates "

How Mr. Trump spent a year and a half skewing and delaying, sometimes leading aides to hide when it came to demands from the National Archives and ultimately the Justice Department "According to interviews and documents, he was required to return the items he took.

The Times claims that the former president's advisers "never followed through" on his plan.

"Mr. Al-Sayyid. Trump floated the idea of offering the deal to return the boxes against the documents

  • which is thought to reveal the Russian investigation as
  • trick ", prepared by the FBI
  • Mr. Trump does not seem to know specifically.
  • What he thought in the archives - just that there are things he wants, "the report adds.

The report follows other reports that the Ministry of Justice believes that the former President has not yet delivered all the material he stole, which could lead to accusations of espionage law and a criminal obstruction case.

A bombshell report on Trump by The New York Times

suggests that indictments will soon "start flying"

  • Commented Lawrence Tribe, retired Harvard Law Professor
  • Justice Department doubts former President Donald Trump
  • He keeps more documents on his property on Thursday on CNN.

Experts believe that this development suggests that prosecutors are seriously considering bringing charges against the former President.

What do you think about potential directions for the Ministry of Justice?" Anchor Anderson Cooper asked.

Tribe said:

This unmistakably indicates that Donald Trump's indictment by the Justice Department is imminent.

Not just to steal top secret documents from

White House and hiding them in different locations

  1. But also for violating the espionage law
  2. Based on these latest reports
  3. obstruction of justice ".

Tribe stated that the Justice Department has evidence that Trump is blocking a "criminal investigation" as well as a "national security investigation."

There are individuals whose lives are in danger if their names appear in some of these top-secret records, which are prominently labelled as "human resources.

They are marked to indicate that they will reveal the identity or place, mainly, of American spies abroad. They were marked by intelligence signals.

So this is very dangerous.

What I mean from these latest revelations is that shortly after the midterm elections, the indictments are likely to start flying. "

Do you believe the former president might be found guilty by the Justice Department? Cooper kept on pushing.

The tribe said

  • She may criticise the former president for obstructing justice and spying
  • in my opinion.
  • This is far from a possible indictment of conspiracy
  • sedition and rebellion.
  • I mean, it's like he's building a trench around Mar-a-Lago
  • and then attempting to swim in it.

Basically

With every blow he makes, with every step he makes, he digs himself into a deeper and deeper hole... His lawyers have to be right beside themselves because it makes things worse.

He says

"I want my documents back.

" He brags about taking them himself. The Department of Public Services had mobilized funds, but they denied that. You almost expect him to say that my dog put the boxes, but we know he doesn't have a dog. "
