Trump leads Biden with polls
Former US President Donald Trump is one point ahead of President Joe Biden if the 2024 presidential election takes place today, according to a new poll.
According to a New York Times poll conducted in collaboration with Siena University, Trump leads Biden by 45 to 44 per cent when potential voters were asked who would support if the presidential election were held today.
The survey also showed that
- 39% approve of Biden's performance
- while about 43% of likely voters have a favorable opinion of Trump
- compared with 52% of those with a non-Trump opinion.
A poll conducted by Yahoo News in collaboration with YouGov last month showed Biden leading Trump by 6 overs.
Fox News: Only 33% of Americans will vote for Biden in 2024
Fox News published the results of a poll showing that only 33% of Americans would like to re-elect Joe Biden in the next presidential election, while 54% would prefer to elect someone else.
The survey results showed that this was 36% at the beginning of the year, indicating that Biden's chances as the next president of the United States were weak.

and study organizer Chris Anderson commented that these results show that some Democrats are pinning their hopes on a candidate more worthy than Biden, while Republicans are categorically opposed to re-election.
The survey was conducted by telephone between October 9 - 12 before next month's midterm elections, in which the 1206 participated.
