The Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Yuri Kokov
confirmed that the United States continues to open clandestine biological laboratories around the world, creating a risk of dangerous viruses in the hands of terrorists.
"Instead of localizing research in this area as much as possible, while ensuring the necessary level of public control, the United States continues to establish secret biological laboratories around the world," Kokov said in a dialogue with Russian newspaper Rosiskaya Gazeta.
He stressed that such an approach created a risk of dangerous viruses falling into the hands of terrorists and extremists, including neo-Nazis.
During the special military operation
- "evidence of military biological activities on Ukraine's territory was obtained under the auspices of the Pentagon."
- "The possession of modern weapons by terrorists gives them the opportunity to carry out large
- scale terrorist acts, which poses a direct threat to society and the state system."
He warned that
"well-known events in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan clearly demonstrate the tragic consequences this can have".
