In an effort to draw attention away from the J6 hearing, Trump boasts that he could get Elon Musk to "down to his knees" and "beg."

As the former president ignored the latest revelations from January 6 in order to escalate his feud with Tesla tycoon Elon Musk, he claimed that he could make him "get on his knees" and "beg" for help.

After Twitter sued Musk for canceling his $44 billion purchase of the social media site, Trump turned to Truth Social.

"When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me to help with all his many supported projects whether it's electric cars that don't go long enough

1. self-driving cars that break down, rockets to anywhere
2. Without the subsidies he would receive
3. he was worthless, and told me how he was a big fan of Trump and a Republican

I could have said, "Get on your knees and beg, and he would have..." Trump deployed.

Shortly after hearing the committee's meeting on 6 January that he had tried to contact a witness in the investigation and that the Ministry of Justice had been contacted, the one-term president attacked the world's richest man on Tuesday.

He mocked Elon Musk for his recent legal disagreement with Twitter, which he had agreed earlier this year to buy.

"Now Elon should focus on getting himself out of the Twitter mess because he might owe $44 billion for something that's probably worthless. Also, there is a lot of competition for electric cars! "He wrote.

• A day earlier, Trump mocked SpaceX's CEO for suggesting that the Republican politician should "hang his hat and sail to sunset."

This happened shortly after Trump called him a "bull artist" and said he told him he had cast two votes for him.

Musk tweeted to his 100 million followers that he would support Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over Trump in 2024 and that he had only recently started voting Republican.
