Germany's Bayern Munich topped the list of top-spending clubs in the ongoing transfer market after finishing the deal for Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt for €70 million plus variants.   According to German newspaper Bild, Bayern Munich spent 120.5 million euros on 3 players: (Dutch Matthijs de Ligt 70 million euros and Senegalese Sadio Mane 32 million euros and Dutch Real Gravenberch 18.5 million euros).

According to German newspaper Bild, Bayern Munich spent 120.5 million

euros on 3 players: (Dutch Matthijs de Ligt 70 million euros and Senegalese

Sadio Mane 32 million euros and Dutch Real Gravenberch 18.5 million euros).


In the prestigious position the Manchester City English side spent 108.75 on

two deals (Norwegian Erling Haaland 60 million euros

and English Calvin Phillips 48.75 million euros).


Barca were third :

  • with 103 million euros spent
  • for inclusion Poland's Robert Lewandowski 45 million euros
  • and Brazil's Rafinha 58 million euros.


In fourth place, Arsenal were awarded €97.06 million for (Brazilian Gabriel Jesus

€52.2 million, Portuguese Fabio Vieira €35 million and American

Matt Turner €6.36 million and Brazilian Markenhos €3.5 million).

In fifth place :

Chelsea came in at 94.2 million euros for the signing of Raheem

Sterling of 56.2 million euros in Senegal, Khalidou Koulibaly for 38 million euros.


Prussia Dortmund :

finished sixth with Euro86 million for :

(Ivorian Sebastian Hillier 31 million euros, German Karim Ademi 30 million euros

German Niko Schloterbeck 20 million euros and Turkish

Saleh Ozcan 5 million euros).


  • Liverpool were seventh to spend 85.8 million euros for the inclusion
  • (Uruguayan Nunez 75 million euros and English Fabio Carvalho
  • 5.9 million euros and Scotland's Calvin Ramsey 4.9 million euros).


Eighth place was for Real Madrid at 80 million

euros in one deal (French Orielin Chaumini).


Ninth was Paris Saint-Germain, which spent 79.5 million euros for

annexation (Portuguese Vitinha 41.5 million euros and 38 million

euros for activation of the purchase of Portuguese contract Nuno Mendes).


Manchester United spent Euro72.37 million in tenth place and included

(Argentine defender Lesandro Martinez for Euro57,37 million

and Dutchman Therel Malasia for Euro15 million).
