Russia's Ministry of Defense has information about the implementation of 10 projects in Ukraine that involved working with pathogens with particularly serious and economically impactful infections.

Igor Kirilov, head of the Russian Armed Forces' Radiation, Chemical and Biology Protection Forces, noted that the Pentagon had issued an order to map particularly dangerous pathogens on the territory of Ukraine, with mandatory transfers of breed samples to the United States.

The official said

  • "Pay attention to the memorandum prepared by the Office of the United States Secretary of Defense on a draft UP
  • 2 for mapping particularly dangerous pathogens in Ukraine.
  • The document indicates that the main task of this project is to gather information on

the molecular composition of pathogens prevalent in Ukraine and to transfer samples of the strain. "

Kirilov also noted that a similar note had been prepared as part of the UP-1 project, with the aim of studying rictia and other diseases spread by arthropods. "The document noted the need to transfer all particularly dangerous pathogen kits to the central reference laboratory, making it possible to facilitate their regulated export to the United States," the official said.

According to him, a large-scale UP-4 project had been implemented in Ukraine to study the possibility of spreading particularly serious infections through migratory birds. "The documents received show that only for the period from November 2019 to January 2020, 991 biological samples were collected."

  1. He also noted that Russia had information on the implementation of
  2. 10 such projects (including UP-3, UP-6, UP-8 and UP-10)
  3. which included work with pathogens with serious and particularly economically impactful infections
  4. Crimea, leptomyelitis, tick-borne encephalitis
  5. and African swine fever.

The Russian Defense Ministry also confirmed that Ukrainian biological labs were linked to a Pentagon-run network for global control of the spread of infectious diseases, and Kirilov said, "Russian Defense Ministry experts confirmed the fact that Ukrainian biological laboratories are linked to the global control system for the spread of infectious diseases."

The network was managed by the Walter Reed Army Research Institute in Maryland. The network has been formed by the Pentagon since 1997. Kerilov added that it includes laboratories for land and naval forces, as well as military bases deployed in different regions of the world.

Russian defence demands investigation into the activity of 4 US biological laboratories in Nigeria where "monkey pox" originated

The Russian Ministry of Defence has called for an investigation into the work of at least four U.S. biological laboratories active in Nigeria, where chickenpox disease originated.

According to a report by the World Health Organization (WHO), the West African breed of monkey pox originated from Nigeria, where the United States deployed its biological infrastructure.

  • "According to available information, there are at least four Washington Biological Laboratories in Nigeria."
  • According to him, in this regard, one should recall the strange coincidence that requires further specialist verification.
  • "Therefore, according to European and American media, in the articles of the Munich Security Conference 2021

that is, against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, a scenario has been developed to confront an outbreak caused by a new strain of chickenpox virus."

According to Kirilov, Russia calls on the WHO leadership to investigate the activities of Nigerian laboratories funded by the United States in Abuja, Zarya and Lagos.

The Russian official added: "Against the backdrop of numerous cases of United States violations of biosecurity requirements and the realities of neglected storage of disease-causing biomaterials, we call on the WHO leadership to investigate the activities of Nigerian laboratories funded by the United States in Abuja, Zarya and Lagos, and to report their results to the international community."

According to footage presented by the Ministry of Defence during the briefing, two United States-controlled biological laboratories are operating in Abuja, one in Zaria and one in Lagos.
