Some Chinese cities, such as Shanghai, avoided the imposition of a full stone and, in return, isolated certain buildings, even as new, asymptomatic daily infections rose to hundreds.
Jilin County officials announced the arrival of the first 10,000 doses of Pfizer's anti-Covid drug. It is the first time this paxlovid drug has been used in China.
