The commission marketing secrets I share here aren't really secrets to some affiliates :-
- when I started marketing on commission in early 2000
- it was useful to know it.
- It would have saved me several years of hard
- work if I had known about these factors in a subsidiary.
I spent a lot of time experimenting with bad strategies
and promoting low
paying products. It was very frustrating not only to struggle to get results as a subsidiary, but when they finally came to see such tiny committees that were barely worth it!
The first idea I'm gonna share is getting an e - mail answer. An automatic response program is a program that allows affiliates to collect e-mails from a web site and automate the delivery of e-mails to your list.
For a long time I didn't have an automatic response.
I've simply tried to attract people to my websites and sell the products directly from there. But a problem is that customers will often need several points of contact before they buy something.
So a single drop on the Web site rarely leads to a sale.
On the website :
the visitor only has a small window of opportunity to make a purchase decision. But once you get the visitors' e - mail information, you can extend this time period for months and years and even decades!
You can give them more "call points" to offer your offers and give value and help those involved in any problem they face.
Products selection :-
The next problem I had was the choice of dependent products that I would sell. The products I chose as a subsidiary were the ones I was going to buy myself.
That's a good policy because you can easily create content about something you care about. But I chose low - value products and I used subordinate programs that paid less! I didn't know that this was a problem until later when I discovered subscription programs paying ongoing commissions for each sale.
With a low-value product from eBay or Amazon
for example, you only get small amounts - usually less than 10% commission. Digital products pay more than 30% to 50% commission.
Then there are expensive products of much greater value.
- elling high-priced products can earn you
- the same as selling hundreds of
- less valuable items.
With a range of products
- you can take advantage of subscription products
- one-time commissions and high ticket sales.
- Plus, you can also take advantage of a built
- in sales team that closes sales on your behalf.
With most affiliated products
you transfer a sale and pay only once.
So you need to keep selling more and more products. Through subscription and high ticket, you can continue to earn from your referrals, probably for years. So the same work is more rewarded with such a strategy.
Paid method is the best :-
Another big benefit of using such a range of products is that paid marketing strategies are within reach.
I've been through free marketing
- with intermittent sales of very little income.
- With a range of high - ticket products
- it's much easier to make a profit while managing paid marketing.
Plus
- once you make a profit
- and you run paid advertising campaigns
- you can expand quickly.
Simply increase the marketing budget! With organic and cheaper marketing strategies, this is more difficult.
I've been struggling for years because I've been selling low - value products and using free marketing strategies that can't be expanded!
Another secret to commission marketing I didn't find out until
a few years of struggle was getting help.
Back in early 2000
- it was much more difficult to start an online business from the beginning.
- You need more technical knowledge.
- You need to be able to create websites yourself.
Programs today take on a lot of artistic prowess in building online businesses. You can press two buttons and get a site ready to work in minutes. You can also join a group of other affiliates that can help greatly with your thinking and personal growth.
The best teamwork :-
Working alone as a subsidiary is difficult
- Other people had similar questions for me
- and joining groups where coaches
- and mentors were at hand shortened the learning curve.
In short, these are my marketing secrets:
Commission marketing is a hard-to-penetrate business with a drop-out rate of about 95%. Remember why you did it and look for a good program and stick to it.
